Movie Review of The Notebook Essay Sample. In search of the perfect romance movie that would satisfy the hopeless romantic inside me I stumbled upon Nick Cassvetes’ “The Notebook” in 2004. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks one of my favorite authors.

In Titanic and in my opinion, Rose died and we see her younger version reunites with Jack, as well as those whose lives were perished. Titanic This movie has always been in my heart, unlike the Notebook. Titanic is very dramatic and tragic, in which Jack died in the end and poor Rose never got to see him again until the ending.

The Notebook - it's one of my favourite films, and Titanic is an OK movie, I just prefer The Notebook. It's the way it captures Duke's devotion to Allie, despite her not knowing who he is, it just moves me in a way that no part of Titanic does.
